Blondie

10/1/16 It was a sad day for Blondie when she and her owner lost their home. She found a new home with United Yorkie Rescue, but she really wanted a home to call her very own again. She wanted a home where she would be the only dog and the center of all the attention and love. Blondie is a young, playful dog who loves to get petted and give kisses. The best things to happen since she sadly lost her first home, happened today when Blondie went to her forever home. She is the only pup with a mom and dad who promise to play with her and shower her with kisses and cuddles. Blondie is such a happy girl. She knows she has a home and the best one ever for the rest of her life.

Angel

9/28/16 Angel has been adopted. She has gone from a being a sick little dog in a kill shelter to a healthy sweetheart. She went through so much during her time as a UYR dog being cared for in her foster home. She came with ear infections, dental disease, skin rashes, and then developed a bad case of pneumonia. She spent so much time at the vet being treated that her foster parents were so concerned about her. She also had a condition called Pyometra. His fur brother loves to play with Sunny and the two go at it, stop to take a power nap, and get up and go again. Now that he has settled into his new home he is the littlest king of the castle. Abigail
Abigail

9/3/16 Abigail's first owner loved her, but still allowed her to deliver two litters of puppies. She may have been loved but she was not cared for. She never had any vaccinations and of course, she was not spayed. What good is love without care, but at least she had a home. Then when her owner lost his apartment she found herself also homeless. Abigail was taken in by her owner's sister who just didn't have time to care for her and kept her crated for hours and hours at a time. Abigail was so neglected that her toenails were curling under and her once beautiful coat was matted and dirty. Finally a wonderful thing happened to Abigail and she became a United Yorkie Rescue dog. The first thing her foster mom did was bathe her. It took three shampoos before the water ran clear and her beautiful curly soft coat was back. It wasn't long before the most perfect family saw her and knew she was the just the right pup for them, and they adopted her. Her new mom wanted a little girl dog so much and Abigail was the one she wanted. Her new mom will take her everywhere. Abigail will never again be left alone for hours and hours at a time. She will be loved and cared for for the rest of her life. Such a happy ending for such a wonderful pup.

Ginny and new family
Ginny

8/31/16 It's been a crazy ride for Ginny. She was found on the streets and taken in by a nice family, but they could't keep her and care for her medical needs. United Yorkie Rescue took her in and gave her the care she needed. She was then adopted by a nice family. But it didn't work out for Ginny. She was just not the right dog for them, so back she came to her foster home. It seems, though, that this time Ginny found her perfect family and was adopted today. She has a new wonderful mom and dad who love her very much. She has another fur friend to play with in the nice fenced yard, and even some cats. Ginny likes cats. And though it's been an up and down life for Ginny has, at last, found her forever home and this time it will be her happily ever after.

Sugar

8/27/16 Sugar was adopted! She was happy in her former home until she started having trouble with the little 3 year old who just loved her too much, just not in the way she needed to be loved. After Sugar let him know, twice, she was not happy with him grabbing at her and playing too rough, her owners knew for Sugar's well being she would need to be in a better home. So to help Sugar and her family Sugar came into United Yorkie Rescue. It didn't take too long before her perfect forever mom and dad found her. A mom and dad who are home all day. There is a nice fenced yard, and best of all no little kids. Sugar will have all the attention she wants and needs. Sugar is such a happy girl now, and like her name, Sugar gives her new mom and dad love and sugar all day long.

BooBoo and new mom
BooBoo

8-27-16 Baby BooBoo was adopted today. This little 6 month old puppy found his perfect forever family. He was only 4 months old when his first mommy had a serious accident and couldn't take care of him anymore. Boo was only 2 pounds, just a tiny little guy. He is now not quite 3 pounds and about as happy and sweet as can be. His new home will be so much fun for him. He has two, not one but two, fur siblings who are also young and they just play all the time. What more could a young puppy want? Well, how about a fenced yard to make it that much better. Now they can play in the house and play outside while their mom and dad watch them run all around and tumble and wrestle with each other until they flop down into a puppy pile to take a rest. BooBoo has the best home any puppy could want. What a happy tail for little Boo.

Suzi and new family
Suzi

8/18/16 Suzi has found her perfect forever home! Suzi, a beautiful 9 yr old, 4.8 lb, little lady was rescued from a shelter after we received a phone call from a previous owner. Initially, Suzi was sold as a show dog at the age of 2 yrs. After that, she was sold again and then at age 9 was turned into the shelter by her owners who were starting a family and did not want a dog in the home. UYR rescued Suzi and found the perfect forever home. Although she was found to kidney disease soon after her adoption, her owner took her to a specialist. The specialist put her on a special diet, special water and meds and she is doing well. Suzi is shown with her other fur siblings in her new home. The white dog is blind and the mixed breed pup has diabetes. Suzi was a great fit into the family who clearly loves special needs pups. Hooray for Suzi.
