Bentley TX 26
Meet Bentley, a handsome 16 month old, 11 pound Yorkie male being fostered in McKinney, TX. PLEASE NOTE BENTLEY HAS A PENDING ADOPTION WHICH SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY THE END OF MAY.
THANK YOU TO BENTLEY'S RESCUE ANGELS!
Sandy Pagnotta, Teresa Paul, Stephanie Slack, Debra Frare, Yvette Vangeloff, Wendy Henry, Cheryl Scrupski
Bio Update 3/24/26: Bentley is a bright, active soul with a heart of gold. Hes a people-pleaser with 'super-hearing'especially when it comes to the crinkle of a treat bag! Though he can be a little reserved with new faces or furry friends, his gentle nature shines through as he quickly warms up. A lover of routine, Bentley is happiest roaming his backyard or sunbathing. Leash walks are still a work in progress, but hes eager to learn.
Bentley recently proved what a sweetheart he is by acting as a 'big brother' to an elderly, blind foster pup. He was incredibly attentive, gently guiding his foster brother away from the pool and other off-limits areas to keep him safe. While hes a protective companion, he does enjoy being the center of attention and can get a tiny bit jealous when sharing his human's affection.
This quirky guy is full of charmhe treats his kennel like a toy chest and prefers the cool hardwood floor for naps. When hes not playing, he takes his job as 'neighborhood watch' seriously, keeping a watchful eye on the street from the upstairs window in Foster Moms office. Clever, quirky, and thoroughly entertaining, Bentley will make a great addition to a furr-ever family!
Initial bio: 2/2/26 Bentley came to UYR from a loving home as an owner surrender. At 16 months and 11 pounds, he is handsome, sweet and in good health. Bentley is crate trained and housetrained and loves to follow his foster mom around the house. He enjoys nightly snuggles, being outside, and playing with toys. Bentley's still settling in with his foster family, and once there are more details to share, an update will be posted.
Adoption Pending
To date we've spent $364.44 on Bentley TX 26's vet bills, but with your support we've collected $135 in donations.

Florida
Blaze
Blaze is a 13-year-old Yorkie mix boy who weighs a 12 pounds. Blaze is being fostered in St. Augustine, FL.
THANK YOU TO BLAZE'S RESCUE ANGELS!
Debi Kardosh, DeAnn Deutsch, Sandy Pagnotta, David Lavine, Renata Slusarz-Hunter, Linda Branham, Judith McGrow, Patty Stacy, John Sauser, Lee Sumergrad, Barbara Burgess, Ellen Chokreff, Elba Short, Cynthia Kirk-Morgan, Rochelle Cherrone, Judith Back-Zack, Tara Pellegrino, Lauren Satterfield, Dana Hilton, Ami Lane, Cindy McKimm, Veronica Gonzales, Carol Bexley, Carol Bexley, Nestor Sanchez, Bret Park
Update 02/16/26
Blaze has been in our care for roughly six weeks. He came in really rough shape. His skin was literally red hot and painful and he had no hair. Well, Blaze still has practically no hair but he is starting to develop a little fuzz so we are hopeful! His skin is much better but his vet is pretty perplexed as to what is causing all his skin issues so we have commenced with some specialized (and expensive) testing to try to get a better diagnosis. Blaze has an enlarged liver so his doctor wanted him to have an ultrasound to rule out anything serious. As it turned out, his liver is just big but the ultrasound revealed other issues we didnt know about. Blaze has bilateral kidney stones AND a huge single stone in his bladder that must be so uncomfortable so as soon as hes cleared for surgery that will be addressed. Blaze is going to be a long-timer with us while he continues his journey towards health and adoption. We have spent nearly $4000 on his care so far with lots more needed so any donations are very appreciated! And please share!
01/27/26
Quick update on precious Blaze! What a difference 48 hours can make! You may recall, Blazes skin was so bad he went straight from the shelter to the ER on Saturday. And they worked their magic with multiple meds, an injection, skin soothing treatments and LOTS OF TLC! By Sunday the bright red had faded to pink and Blaze was no longer clawing himself from unbearable itching. Thats the good news! Blaze was seen by the general Vet today where he had lots of blood drawn that will be sent for testing so that we can get to the bottom of all Blazes issues. The Vet suspects he may have Cushings Disease but will need initial test results and additional diagnostics to confirm or rule out. Blazes foster Mom says he is over the moon sweet and the Vet staff marveled at how calm and tolerant he was. And doesnt he look adorable in his blue hoodie?!? Blaze wants to thank EVERYONE who has asked about him and donated to his care! He WOOFS YOU BIGLY!
Initial Bio 1/24/26: Welcome poor Blaze to rescue. Its been a wild week at UYR. Blaze is our 4th intake this week in FL alone. But how could we say no to this? Blaze was picked up as a stray running the streets. He was taken to shelter and scanned. He had a microchip! Yay! It was registered! Double Yay! They were able to track down his owner! Triple Yay! The shelter even brought Blaze home! This is the point in Blaze's story that's supposed to lead to a happy ending! Right?!?! WRONG! His owner who adopted him from another rescue at age 5 no longer wanted him at 13.5. He was too old, too much trouble, too expensive to care for, too EVERYTHING and JUST NO they do not want him anymore. So poor Blaze went back to the shelter with little hope and few prospects. Ironically, Blaze is his REAL NAME. You might think its a name we gave him because his skin looks like it is literally on fire and resembles that of a burn victim. When we saw him we knew we had to help him and help him we are. Blaze was picked up at the shelter by one our most experienced fosters who said he is in the worst shape of any dog she has ever pulled. He was transported straight to the emergency room where he is right now with his foster Mom and Dad receiving desperately needed (and very expensive) emergency care. We so hope we can ease his suffering and get him better fast! If you can help please click donate and share! Thank You!
To date we've spent $2502.15 on Blaze's vet bills, but with your support we've collected $2005.99 in donations.

Briggs
Meet Briggs, a sweet 12-year-old, 5 pound Yorkie boy being fostered near Alexandria, VA.
THANK YOU TO BRIGGS' RESCUE ANGELS!
Samantha Burns, Sandy Pagnotta, Wendy Fuhrnaneck, Timothy York, Josh Litton, John Fullam, Catherine Pinto
Bio Update 2/26/26
Hi everyone, it's me Briggs!
I wanted to give you an update on how I have been doing since the last time I checked in. FM still says that I am AMAZING and that I am just the sweetest! She still has to hand feed me 2 times a day. I have a hard time getting and keeping the food in my mouth when I try to eat on my own. FM said that she doesn't mind doing that because I'm worth it and I agree with her!
My tummy wasn't feeling very well and I was having lots of diarrhea so FM took me to see the Dr. They gave me some meds and I started feeling better but as soon as I finished taking them it came back. The dr said that due to the length of time that this was going on we needed to do an ultrasound next. We are waiting to see when I can be scheduled for that next week.
Any donations towards my medical care would be greatly appreciated!!! They can be made on United Yorkies Rescue's website. www.uyr.us
Thanks, and as soon as we have answers on what's happening with my tummy, I will let you know. Send prayers please. THANKS!!
Initial Bio
1/17/2026: Briggs just arrived Friday night, this poor baby has had a ROUGH life!! He was surrendered to us by his owner. We were told that he is 12yrs old. He has no teeth and only 1 eye. He was severely neglected, clearly you can see that from the pictures. His hair was matted and he had dried poop in clumps smashed into his hair. I have cut out as many of the matts that I could without hurting him. He will have to be shaved down to get out the rest. He has been given a bath, and he seems to be very grateful for that! He is under weight and his hearing doesn't seem to be very good. It appears to me that he has some health issues as well, but I will know more this week when I take him to the vet. I cannot for the life of me understand how someone could let an animal get to this point!
1/20/26: Just a quick update on sweet Briggs.... He is starting to come out of his shell a little and show his personality. He's waging his tail now and starting to show some excitement when I walk into the room. For everything this baby has been through it amazing me that he is soooooooo sweet. I have earned his trust, but I am still going slow with him. He went to the vet yesterday and he needs to put on some weight. Why is it that when I go to the Dr I am told just the opposite?? LOL I am waiting for his bloodwork, but upon exam there wasn't anything alarming per the vet.
He has done well with my 2 yorkies and doesn't seem to be fazed at all by the cat. He is a very special little boy who deserved only the best. Stay tuned for more updates as I get to know more about him.
1/25/26: The bloodwork is back and he is PERFECT but I already knew that! As I have gotten to know this little man better, I think he would do best in a quiet home without children or other animals over 10 lbs. He prefers the simple thing in life like quiet and his bed. He has been eating well but you will need to get him jump started. His hearing isn't the best, but then again, most yorkies have selective hearing anyway. LOL Honestly.... he is just as sweet as they come. You do have to go slow with him and take your time to earn his trust. Because he only has one eye if you reach for him on that side and he can't see you hand coming he gets startled. He will not be adopted out of state so if you are in VA and think you are the perfect home for him, please complete an application for adoption.
1/31/26: Hi everyone.... it's me Briggs! I have been settling into my new foster home for the last 2 weeks now and FM says that she can't believe how quickly I have been adjusting. I still haven't been able to go to the salon to get my hair done by the professionals because mother nature had other plans. We have gotten soooooo much of the white stuff and ice. FM says that we have to wait for the roads to get better before we can go. I can tell you one thing for sure I DO NOT like the white stuff. FM says that she doesn't blame me.
Let me tell you a little about how far I have come in the last 2 weeks. I am really starting to trust and come out of my shell. I get excited when I see FM and she said that my little stump of a tail moves so much and so fast she thinks I might take off in flight! LOL I'm starting to lick FM's hand and will play a little at night when we get into bed. My foster sister (another yorkie) always wants to give kisses and at first it really made me nervous, but now I'm warming up to the idea and letting her get a little closer. I sleep in bed with FM and both of the other yorkies that live with us. I'm even letting them snuggle a little closer now and I think I kinda like it. I have been eating like a champ and FM says that's a good thing because I still need to gain some weight. I'm not real big on treats, but the other 2 pups that live here are ok with that! They are more than happy to have my share of the treats. FM says I am just the best little guy... and I couldn't agree more with her!! Stay tuned for more updates.... Bye for now.

Coal
Coal is a sweet boy . He is a 14 month old, 5-pound Pom/Maltipoo being fostered near Palm Coast FL. COAL HAS VERY SPECIFIC NEEDS FOR HIS FOREVER HOME - PLEASE REVIEW HIS PROFILE BEFORE SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION
THANK YOU TO COAL'S RESCUE ANGELS!
Sandy Pagnotta, Lee Summergrad, Nestor Sanchez
Update 2/18/26
Meet Coal a tiny fluff with a big personality and even bigger feelings. Basically, he's what would happen if a teddy bear wished really hard to become a dog. Coal is not yet ready for adoption, but hopefully he will be soon.
Lets address the obvious: yes, he is ridiculously cute. Yes, we have received a mountain of applications. And yes we are still waiting for the one. Coal isn't just looking for a home he's looking for his person. So please read carefully, because this little fluffball comes with some very specific (and very important) needs.
First, Coal is still very much a puppy at just over a year old. Pomeranians can live 15-16 years, so adopting him is a long-term commitment. He needs someone who is ready to love and care for him well into the future through all the chapters of life.
Now, lets talk about mealtime. Coal is what we lovingly call a gourmet minimalist. He is a very picky eater and often requires encouragement, coaxing, and occasionally hand-feeding. He has been known to go on dramatic 48-hour hunger strikes. (Yes, he will out-stubborn you. Ask us how we know.) Patience is required and maybe a sense of humor.
Coal also has a sensitive GI system. Since coming into rescue, hes had episodes of upset tummy and diarrhea, resulting in vet visits and medication. He is currently being treated for parasites, and we are hopeful this will improve things. Its possible his anxiety plays a role were still figuring that out together.
And speaking of anxiety Coal has a lot of it. Emphasis on a lot. He will not do well in a home with young children. He needs a calm, stable, adult-only environment. He would thrive with another small, well-adjusted, calm dog who can model confidence and help him learn that the world isn't quite so scary.
Coal is shy when meeting new people and takes time to feel safe. His foster mom is seeing slow, steady progress, but Coal operates on his own timeline and he does not accept rush orders. When anxious, he can be a flight risk, so a securely fenced yard is a big plus for safety.
Because of his anxiety, we are seeking a local adopter within driving distance of Palm Coast, FL who is willing to do several gradual meet-and-greets before adoption. We know that's asking a lot but Coal deserves the very best chance at a smooth transition.
In short, Coal needs:
A calm, adult-only home
A securely fenced yard
Another small, calm dog
A patient, kind, committed human who is home most of the time
Someone willing to build trust slowly before adoption
Coal is not the easiest dog. He is not plug-and-play. But for the right person, the one who sees past the anxiety and into that tender little heart, he will be deeply, fiercely devoted.
He is a special dog with special needs, waiting for a special human who is willing to go the extra mile (or ten) to show him that love and safety are here to stay.
If you are that person please complete an application using the link below.
To date we've spent $434.99 on Coal's vet bills, but with your support we've collected $182.73 in donations.
For more information, contact my foster parents at: leerobin05@gmail.com.

Cookie (fka Beretta)
Meet Cookie (formerly Beretta), a 7 months old 8 lb girl. Cookie is being fostered near Clearwater , FL.
THANK YOU TO COOKIE'S RESCUE ANGELS!
Lee Sumergrad, Dan Clauser, Barbara Burgess
Bio 2/27/26
Hi there! I'm Cookie, a 7-month-old, 8.2-pound bundle of love, wiggles, and pure puppy joy. I may be tiny, but my heart is HUGE! I've already been spayed, microchipped, and had all my vaccinations and wellness check, so Im healthy, happy, and ready to start my forever life.
I adore other small dogs and would absolutely love a playful little best friend to show me the ropes so homes with another canine fur friend are preferred. I love just about everyone and everything except cats (I prefer my friendships canine, thank you very much!).
I didn't get to explore much of the world early on I spent a lot of time in a room or crate so a home with a secure backyard where I can zoom, sniff, and discover would feel like winning the lottery. I have happy puppy energy and am still learning that being alone isn't so scary, so I'd do best with a family who is home often and willing to help me build confidence.
I'm working hard on my house training manners. Like any baby, I occasionally have accidents, but I'm improving every day with consistency and patience.
Now lets talk about my favorite things: cuddling, being held like royalty, and claiming the softest pillow in the house. I am, without question, a professional pillow princess. I don't care if you're a man or a woman as long as you love me, I'm yours forever.
If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate little shadow who will adore you endlessly and fill your home with puppy kisses and happy energy, I'm your girl.
To date we've spent $1120.41 on Cookie (fka Beretta)'s vet bills, but with your support we've collected $230 in donations.

 Flannery

Minnesota
Flannery
Meet Flannery, an adorable 8 year old, 9 pound Yorkie female being fostered in Cottage Grove, MN. Adopters from the Twin Cities (MN), Madison, WI, or Des Moines, IA
THANK YOU TO FLANNERY'S RESCUE ANGELS!
Sandy Pagnotta
Update 3/24/26: Flannery had her dental last week and did very well; she had two teeth pulled and four cysts removed. The staff loved her disposition and the vet was very happy with her health condition. Treatment of dry eye is going well, and the luxating patellas are stable, she's active and doing well. Her favorite place is anywhere she's snuggling. She's been sleeping in a crate at night and loves being with her person...she's a mellow gal.
2/8/26: Flannery had her first dogtor appointment. Her evaluation reflected she is past due for a dental. Additionally, Flannery is being treated for eye irritation, potentially a dry eye condition. She's is scheduled to have a dental procedure on 3/20, at which time she will have some cysts removed and her eye condition and luxating patellas will be rechecked to determine if any additional medical care is needed.
It was initially presented that Flannery and her sister Harper Lee were a bonded pair, however after further assessment it appears the girls would do better in separate homes. Please continue to check back for updates as we further assess medical needs.
When Flannery becomes available, applicants will need to live within a 2-hour radius of St. Paul, MN, so we can provide local support if needed. Flannery is part of a bonded pair, and must be adopted with her sister Harper Lee. We anticipate high vetting expenses before she's ready for her forever home and would greatly appreciate donations to her with her upcoming medical care. Questions? If you have questions not covered in her bio below, please reach out to her foster at mnyorkiemom@gmail.com.
Initial Bio 2/4/26: Meet Flannery, a tiny soul with a huge heart and a penchant for snuggles. At eight years young, this sweet girl was raised in a very loving home, and it shows in her social nature. She is a "people person" through and through. Please check back for updates as we continue to evaluate Flannery.
To date we've spent $1868.39 on Flannery's vet bills, but with your support we've collected $25 in donations.

Fletcher
Meet Fletcher, a sweet 12-year-old, 9 pound Yorkie boy being fostered near Clarksville, VA.
THANK YOU TO FLETCHER'S RESCUE ANGELS!
Sandy Pagnotta, Dan Clauser, Jessica Forrester, Alex LeBlanc, Barbara Burgess, Angie Cagle, Kevin Pfeiffer, Veronica Gonzales
8/11/2025: Hello everybody! It's me Fletcher and do I have story to tell you. Let's go all the way back to February of this year (2025). My owners decided they didn't want me anymore so they so they opened the door and let me go out all by myself on an adventure. It was an adventure all right! I made it all the way from Maryland to Virginia without getting into to much trouble. A nice lady found me hanging out in a cemetery not looking so good so she picked me up and took me to a local vet's office to see if I was micro chipped. Guess what.... I was! The vet's office called my old owner and they said they didn't want me anymore (that's how we found out I was on the street for 5 whole months). That's when the nice people at the Dr's office called UYR and my foster mom came and got me right away.
I'm a healthy boy... up to date on my shots now and I had my teeth cleaned. I only have 5 teeth left now, but that doesn't stop me from eating! I love to eat!! FM says I am a super sweet boy but I'm a little anxious. FM isn't sure if it's because I was out on the street for so long and I need more time to adjust to living back inside. I get along great with the other pups in my foster home, but I like to chase the cat. That doesn't make the kitty or FM happy. I am trying to get better about that. I don't want to eat the kitty and I'm not mean to him I just like to chase him. Needless to say the kitty doesn't like me now. I guess I can't blame him.
FM thinks I would do great with another doggie sibling or I would be just fine as an only dog because I LOVE attention and to be loved on!! I'm really a sweet boy who just wants to be loved. I have been doing great about going potty outside and I have even started going to the door to let FM know it's time for a potty break.
If you want a sweet little man in you life...then I'M YOUR GUY!!! FM wanted me to let you know that I will be going to the groomer to get my hair did and that she will post new pictures as soon as that's done. Just wait until you see how handsome I am... your gonna fall in love!! Email FM if you have any questions or want to know more!
08/08/2025: Fletcher just arrived in his new foster home. Update on Fletcher coming soon.

Jolie TX
Meet Jolie, a precious 6 week old Yorkie female being fostered in McKinney, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered.
THANK YOU TO JOLIE'S RESCUE ANGELS!
Angie Cagle, Carol Gostomski, David and Diana Lavine, Tracy Cunningham
Bio update 3/31/26: I am writing to provide an update on my progress. My name is Jolie, and my foster mother affectionately calls me Spitfire.
I am very much still a puppy, estimated to be between 10 and 12 weeks old. I received my first set of vaccinations on March 23rd. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the procedure and expressed my discomfort through vocalizations. I understand that I require two additional sets of vaccinations, spaced four weeks apart. My final vaccination is anticipated to be administered around the end of May, with the possibility of finding a suitable home by Memorial Day. At the time of my last vaccination, I weighed 2.5 pounds. My veterinarian has estimated that I will reach a full adult weight of six to eight pounds, although this is an approximation based on limited information about my past.
I am actively learning potty training under the guidance of my surrogate mother, Millie. I am also learning various other essential puppy behaviors. My foster mother has created a comfortable and safe environment for me, including a spacious crate that serves as my bed, food and water station, and a designated potty pad. I consistently use the potty pad as instructed. I sleep in the crate at night and ensure that it remains open during the day to provide a safe resting place. However, there are numerous other safe and comfortable areas in the house, which I enjoy exploring during the day. As a typical puppy, I am energetic and require constant stimulation.
My veterinarian suggests that my middle name should be TROUBLE, as I am always in motion. I engage in various activities, such as playing with toys, interacting with my surrogate mother Millie, my foster mother, and myself outside. I am also prone to bursts of energy known as “zoomies.” In preparation for my future home, my foster mother has outlined several key requirements that she hopes to find in my forever family. She emphasizes the importance of providing me with a loving and nurturing environment that meets my physical and emotional needs.
Thank you for your attention to this update. I eagerly anticipate the day when I will find my forever home and fulfill my destiny as a beloved companion.
A secure, fenced-in yard is of utmost importance to me, as I derive immense joy from being outdoors. I am an avid runner and explorer, and my keen sense of smell allows me to savor the scents of my surroundings.
Having a playmate would be a significant advantage, as I require companionship to xpend my boundless energy. As a puppy, I necessitate constant supervision during training sessions to ensure my development into a well-behaved and intelligent canine companion.
I am not suitable for homes with children under the age of twelve, as my size and energy level may pose a risk to their safety.
I am seeking a forever home with a single individual, a couple, or a family with children over the age of twelve. As Yorkie puppies, we prioritize a long and fulfilling life. With proper care, we have the potential to live beyond sixteen years.
In addition to the essentials, I require a balanced diet, delectable treats, and an assortment of toys. These are indispensable components of my well-being and will undoubtedly be present in my new home.
If you believe you possess the necessary qualities to provide me with a loving and nurturing environment, I encourage you to submit an application. Should you have any inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact my foster mother, Shirley, at Stickhors@gmail.com.
Initial Bio 3/5/26: Hello Lone Star State!
My name is Jolie! I just flew in from California and I am so happy to be here and a United Yorkie Rescue little one.
I am still a puppy, probably around six to eight weeks old. I went to the Dogtor on March 2 to meet them and get a quick check-up. The Dogtor said I am a healthy little girl and weigh a whole 2 pounds! I am still a little too young for my puppy shots, so well start those in two weeks.
It will take a few weeks before I can go to my forever home. I need to get all my puppy shots, a microchip, and I need to be spayed so I dont have puppies. Weve got that first vaccination appointment already set up.
I have only been here since February 27th, and I am still showing my foster mom how much of a puppy I can be. Im a very busy little girl when I get out of my big pen and wander around with the big dawgs or go outside to do my business. I love to play with toys, especially the ones that make crinkly noises. I love my food time and trying to steal cookies from the other resident puppies, but I cant eat them because I still have tiny puppy teeth. I am in my teething stage and I love my little yak bones. But, being a puppy, that holds my attention span for a good minute or so before I have to go and play with something else.
Well, that is about all for now that I have let my foster family learn about me. You can bet I will be teaching them other things as time passes because I overheard FM saying to herself that I am a smart girl. So, I am pawsitively sure there will be new adventurous pupdates posted in the future. In the meantime, if you have any questions, you can reach out to my FM at Stickhors@gmail.com. If you want to fill out an application you will find below this bio you will see a link that will take you directly to my very own application, so fill one out if youd like.

Lexi
Lexi is a 3-year-old Yorkie Mix who weighs 15lbs and is being fostered near Palm Coast FL.
THANK YOU TO LEXI'S RESCUE ANGELS!
Cynthia Kirk-Morgan, thank you for Chibi who is the joy of my life!, Mara Tongue; Thank you UYR for without you we would not have Bella!, Wendy Henry, Cheryl Scrupski, Yvette Vangeloff, Nestor Sanchez
Update 8/11/25:
Hi, Lexi here! Just checking in. What have yall been up to this summer? I have mostly been hanging in the house or running and playing in the back yard or going on car rides. Foster mommy says its just to hot outside and if I go for a walk which I love, I might burn the bottoms of my paws. I can be a bit hard to walk with as I get very excited when I see another doggie or a bicyle. Foster mommy has been working with me to get me to slow down. I am a spunky 3 year old girly with lost of energy. I definitely need a home with a fenced in backyard where I can run off some of my energy. I do love the outdoors and I love chasing those things with a long tail. I think theyre called lizzies. I also love car rides. I just get in my own car seat and go to sleep. I do like being with my person. I dont like being left behind and if there is a big rain storm, I am terrified of thunder. I get along with little dogs (6-7lbs) but I dont like other dogs that are around my size or larger. It would be best if I am the only princess in the house. Oh! And about your bed, well its my bed too! Thats all for now. Every body have a good rest of your summer. Lexi is being fostered near Palm Coast and can only be adopted within an 80 mile range of her current home.
Update Bio 7/6/25
LEXI: Just look at me! Am I cute or what? I am a 15lb Morkie (Maltese Yorkie mix) I am three years young. I like to run and play in a fenced in backyard. I also like walks but I am fearful of big dogs and bicycles. I am very good when riding in the car. I just get in my seat and go to sleep. But I do like to be with my person so outings are my absolute favorite. I dont get along with dogs my size or big dogs but I am OK with little dogs. I am just very afraid of bigger dogs. I was abused when I was about 5 months old so I have to learn to trust people. I am energetic and I love to run and especially I love to chase lizards. I need a home with a completely fenced in back yard so I can run around. No children please. Im a little high strung for small kids. I have had a couple homes in my short life so I am looking forward to finding my furever home and family.
Update 4/5/25: Hello everybody, its me Lexi with an update as what I have been doing lately. Well, I am still chasing those lizards in the backyard. There are so many more to chase now that its warm outside. I just love to be outside in my big backyard. Its so much fun. My foster mommy says I have come such a long way and that I am such a good little girlie. You remember that I was abused as a puppy and I have to learn to trust in my person. Well, I have learned to trust everyone in my foster home and I love them all! I sleep in bed with my foster mommy. I like to
snuggle up against her. She doesnt particularly like it but I do and she lets me get my way! When morning comes, I wake her up with a big kiss and gently put my paw on her face to make sure she gets up because I am hungry and I want to eat and go outside to play. I get along very well with the other little doggies in the home. Dont know about kitties as I havent met one yet. I have learned that a persons touch is not going to hurt me but is because they love me.
I am completely housebroken. Love playtime and a big back yard to run and play in. I also like to take walks and go for car rides. I just snuggle down in my car seat and enjoy the ride. Oh! Just so you know, Im really afraid of thunder. If there is a storm I want to be held and cuddled. I can get a little excited sometimes so maybe a home with no young kids is best for me. If you feel you have the pawfect home for me please fill out an adoption application or reach out through my foster mommys eMail and she will answer any questions you may have. Got to go! The lizzards are calling me to play a game of catch me if you can.
Update 3/7/25: Meet Lexi a 3 year old 15lb Morkie (Maltese Yorkie). Lexi is a very sweet little girlie that has a past of being abused as a puppy. Due to her previous abuse she has become very guarded around newcomers. For this reason, she needs an owner that has lots of patience and will give Lexi all the time she needs to settle into a new home. She is a very active young dog and for this reason requires a fenced backyard. Also, Lexi must be the only dog in the home, with no children living in the household and someone that is home most all day to give Lexi allot of time, affection and attention. Lexi has never had a permanent home as she was shuffled from relative to relative due to her previous owner traveling for work so much therefor, she is in need of a place that she can call her home. She is in the process of being leashed trained but still gets very excited when she sees another dog. Lexi loves to run and play in the backyard chasing lizards. She especially loves a game of Tug O War. She is a very sweet girl but will need time and patience to learn to trust her person due to her past abuse. Once she knows she can trust her person or family, you are her world. She also wants to snuggle and sleep up against you to make sure you are safe all night long. Condo living would not be an option for sweet Lexi as she is very protective of herself and her family and will bark if she hears something she feels signals danger.
1/23/25
Lexi is back! She was surrendered by her recent adopter because she wasnt getting along with the other dog in the home. It may be that Lex needs to be the only little pampered princess in the home. She a 3 year old ball of energy that loves to play. Lexi has has a few homes in her short life. She was removed from her first home at just 5 mos old as she was being abused as a small puppy. She was then adopted by a wonderful lady that eventually surrendered due to her feeling that she didnt have the time to commit to Lexi as she is a young energetic dog. Due to this, she has never had a stable place to live for very long and is so deserving of a home to call her forever home. Lexi loves to run and play in a fenced backyard chasing squirrels and lizards. Her ideal home would have a backyard for her to run and exercise in to work off some of her energy. A stay at home person would be ideal as she is young and needs frequent outdoor time. She is a great watch dog and is very loving and protective of her foster family. If you feel your home would be a fit for Lexi please fill out the adoption application to be considered.
01/06/2025
Lexi is a 3 year old 15lb Morkie owner surrender due to her past owner (out of feelings of love for what is best for Lexi) and not having enough time to give to this very active little girlie. According to Lexi's previous owner, she suffered from abuse as as a small puppy by her first owner and was removed from the home but shows no signs of even remembering the incidents and completely trusts and loves everyone she meets. This will be Lexi's third home since her birth and it MUST be her last and FOREVER home! She deserves to have a stable home with nothing but time, attention and lots of love. Since Lexi has been in foster care we have gotten to know Lexi's personality a bit over the past couple months. She loves attention, playtime and cuddles. She is absolutely a little sweetie. she loves to cuddle in bed at your feet where she feels she is protecting you. She does get along with other dogs in the home but can be a bit much for a much smaller dog as she is very active and wants to play hard sometimes and can be intimidating to very small dogs. Her prefered home would have a dog her approximate size and age that loves to play as much as Lexi does. Lexi has discovered lizards and loves to chase them in her outdoor time. She also loves a good game of Tug O' War! A fenced backyard would be awesome to run and play and wear out some of her activeness but is not a deal breaker. She just loves outdoor time. Lexi is also very much a great watch dog and spends her time in the window making sure no one gets near her home or her foster family that doesn't belong there. She gives off a good loud bark if she feels or sees someone getting to close to her backyard. Lexi is housebroken but needs help with leash training as she pulls when walking on a leash. This is an easy correction with a little time and just learning to walk by her person. She is very smart and catches on quickly. She will have her dental prior to her adoption. If you feel your home would be a great fit for this amazing little girlie please fill out the adoption application to be considered.

Florida
Lily
Lily is a 3-4 year-old Yorkie girl who weighs 8 pounds. Lily is being fostered in Dunedin, FL.
THANK YOU TO LILY'S RESCUE ANGELS!
Robin Nyberg, Sandy Pagnotta, Debi Kardosh, Timothy York, Rayne Debski, Barbara Burgess, Celeste Bichey, Wendy Fuhrmaneck, DeAnn Deutsch, Alex LeBlanc, Tara Pellegrino
3/25/26. It's me, Lily back again with my latest update. I have had a lot going on but have sailed through it like the little champ that I am! I keep hearing I am such a good girl.
Our next stop is back at our general vet to have some lumpy things removed after a punch biopsy showed that they needed to go! Full removal will ensure all is well and pathology will hopefully confirm they are okay and not diseased. After that, I have been approved by UYR to have my bilateral cataract surgery. The sort of "just okay" news is that, due to my damaged retina, we cannot guarantee how much of my sight I will get back and for how long. But my wonderful rescue feels that, due to my young age, it is worth the chance to try and offer me a better life, even if the future is not certain.
I I have impaired vision right now but my foster mom has been taking me all kinds of places and I adjust to my surroundings very quickly. I am very smart. As far as future treatment, I will need to use eye drops for the rest of my life and will need to visit an Ophthalmologist once a year.
Otherwise, my foster Mom keeps calling me her little angel and, even though I may be a little challenged, I know I would be your little angel for the rest of my life.
Oh! And we are spending quite a bit of money (Lilys total vet costs will exceed $10,000!) on my care so if you are able to help out in any way, we will greatly appreciate it! It's for a great cause!
3/5/26: Lily here! Well, I have lots of news to report and it seems to be all good so far as my Foster Mom says she is "Over the Moon" about my progress, whatever that means. She also said I must be feeling better because I have a little bounce in my step now! Amazing what love, safety, good food and a warm bed can do.
I had my dental today and my vet was very surprised at how much enamel is gone from my teeth. She said it might be a result of a bad breeder or it's genetic or both. They extracted 9 teeth and some were just missing, but I still have a lot of teeth left and I never seem to have a problem eating. I guess my breed is prone to dental issues, so if you adopt me, you will need to be sure and take extra good care of my teeth.
A couple of my lumpy things were extracted or aspirated, so we are waiting for the pathology report to return to make sure it's nothing bad.
Now here's the REALLY GOOD NEWS! We thought I was going to need leg surgery but my leg issue is the result of a trauma early in life, like falling, and the injury was never fixed. So I will need to take joint support stuff to keep my leg strong and I am not supposed to jump off of things like the sofa or the bed.
So we got to skip the Orthopedic Surgeon and go straight to the Ophthalmologist. I am going to see him very soon for a consult to see if we can do cataract surgery. So please stay tuned!
My foster mom keeps calling me an Angel. I am so very sweet and I give her lots of love and kisses and snuggling. I am very good in the car now too. Where I used to fidget, now I just sleep in my car seat. I love my walks and my favorite place is near to my human. She takes me out to do lots of different things and I am always a good girl. I get along with people, other dogs and...well....I love life!
Stay tuned for further updates on Lily's progress and foster mom is readily available to answer an questions you may have.
If you need a little angel living in your home, Lily is your girl!
Updated Bio 2/23/26: Lily went to the groomer today and just when we thought she couldn't get any cuter, she did! The groomer said she was an angel and everyone who meets Lily seems to feel the same way.
Lily is the sweetest little girl - affectionate, sleeps through the night, walks well on a leash, is good in the car (at times a little squirmy but not too bad) and likes to be near her person. She is mostly housebroken and readily does her business outside or on a walk, unless her Foster Mom misses her signal to go out - oops!
Lily had her Dogter appointment and, while we were not sure what to expect based on her seemingly scary conditions, we were, of course hoping for the best. And THE BEST is what we got! We need to take one step at a time but it appears that her medical conditions are treatable and manageable. Her tumors are just fatty tumors and are benign. She has one on her back end, which is being removed in a few days when she goes in for her dental. And her blood work had a few "off" levels which are being retested while fasting. Lily enjoys her food, so fasting is not her favorite thing!
Next stop is consulting with the orthopedic surgeon who has already looked at her Xrays and deemed that we have several options on how to treat the necrosis in her leg. Lily walks just fine and is not in pain, so that's another good thing.
Then on to the Ophthalmologist to look at her cataracts and decide a course of action. At her young age, removal of the cataracts is a viable option.
Lily has a lot going on for such a young little girl, a result of bad breeding, genetics or both. But the GOOD NEWS is that we are going to get her all taken care of and on the road to her Furever home! She certainly deserves it!
Stay tuned for further updates on Lily's progress and her foster mom is readily available to answer an questions you may have.
If you need a little angel living in your home, Lily is your girl!
Initial bio: Lily came into the shelter as an owner surrender who was facing severe health problems. Lily was obtained just 2 months ago from another owner as they were unable to care for her any longer. The previous owner provided us with the following information about Lily. She is independent, quiet, friendly to visitors, safe in interactions with children of all ages, has lived with cats and other dogs, sleeps in a pet bed, is housetrained and crate trained, will sit in front of you and stare to signal the need to go outside. Upon exam the shelter vet found a lot of medical issues including dental disease; bilateral cataracts (suspect inherited) with secondary uveitis; multiple masses; an anal mass (perianal adenoma vs ulcerated mucosa vs AGASAC); mild hyperbilirubinemia (suspect due to lipemia); left femoral head/neck & acetabulum changes (r/o avascular necrosis of femoral head vs neoplasia vs other), so Lily definitely needed help and we answered! Lily will be requiring a lot of care for a while so donate if you can!
To date we've spent $4763.45 on Lily's vet bills, but with your support we've collected $765 in donations.

 Luna

Florida
Luna
Luna is a 1.5-year-old, 11 pound Yorkie mix girl being fostered in Crestview FL.
Initial Bio 4/1/26
Meet Luna:
Your Tiny, Tireless Security Expert!
Age: 1.5 Years | Breed: Yorkie Mix | Vibe: Energetic Explorer
Health Status: Will be Fully Vetted April 2,2026 (Up-to-date on all vaccines, preventatives, and care!)
Luna is a friendly, high-energy Yorkie mix who believes the world is one giant playground. At just a year and a half old, she is curious about everything and always ready for her next adventure. Whether she’s performing high-speed "zoomies" in the yard with her foster brother or winning a legendary game of tug-of-war, this "busy girl" keeps the fun going all day long.
Her Specialized Skills:
Head of Security: Luna takes her perimeter checks seriously! She’ll give a few sharp, vigilant barks to alert you to incoming mail or a suspicious squirrel. She is currently "interning" to learn that not every leaf needs a formal announcement, and she’s making great progress.
The Social Butterfly: Luna loves other dogs and would thrive with a canine playmate who can keep up with her pace. (Note: She’s requested a cat-free home, as she finds them a bit too interesting to chase!)
House Training: She’s a superstar with housebreaking as long as she has a consistent routine.
The Nightly Routine:
Because there is just so much to explore, Luna occasionally experiences "FOMO" (Fear Of Missing Out) when it’s bedtime. While she might need a little extra convincing to head into her crate, once she realizes it’s officially "recharge time," she settles in and behaves perfectly through the night.
Ideal Home:
Luna is looking for an active family or a home with a playful doggy sibling. If you’re looking for a tiny, brave, and affectionate partner-in-crime, Luna is ready to report for duty!
To date we've spent $0 on Luna's vet bills, but with your support we've collected $0 in donations.

Millie TX
Meet Millie, a precious 8 pound, 3 year old Yorkie mix being fostered in McKinney, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered.
THANK YOU TO MILLIE'S RESCUE ANGELS!
David and Diana Lavine, Kip Finch, Sandy Pagnotta
Bio update 3/31/26: Hello gorgeous spring time. It's about time for me to let you all know what's going on in my life here at Stickhorse Ranch in Mckinney.
As in my prior biography, you know that I am heartworm positive when I first was rescued by UYR. I started my heartworm treatment. Our Dogtor says that in six months I need to get one of those heartworm test things and take another big shot. We're hoping I will be heartworm free in August but we will continue to finish the treatment being the last shot would be around February sometime.
I am still just a very chill girl here. I am not a barker. I am still working on my potty training and trying to teach Jolie that too. I am am a watcher of all things. I do have a new job though. Foster Mom has two new foster puppies. One of them is Pip and the other one is Jolie. On day two of Jolie must've being here she must thought I was a mommy and tried to nurse from me. I let her know that we will not be doing any of that with a grrrr. Well since after that, she's adopted me as her surrogate mom so I kinda adopted her as my surrogate daughter. We play a lot together, games like chase outside/inside and tug-of-war and I'm gonna steal what you have and I know you're gonna try and steal it back games. She is one busy little girl and I do get exhausted. I am so gentle with her, but I am teaching her that biting is not a nice thing and both foster mom and I try and redirect her into chewy or yak bones. Her teeth are really sharp. I forgot how sharp puppy teeth were! I am a very healthy girl.
I need to finish my heartworm treatment and get spayed. So if you have any questions about me, please feel free to reach out to my fabulous foster mom stickhors@gmail.com PS my direct application link is at the bottom of my bio.
Initial Bio 2/14/26: Millie was rescued by UYR from the Killeen Animal Shelter.
On January 29, 2026, she underwent a Comprehensive Intake Examination at Crossroads Veterinary Hospital. Her blood chemistry and CBC were performed, and she was checked for a microchip. Unfortunately, she did not have one, but will receive one when she is spayed. She also tested positive for microfilaria, and has commenced heartworm treatment with doxycycline and prednisone.
Millie captured my heart within a few days. She remains quiet and cautious, but is gradually becoming more comfortable in her new environment.
She still requires a rabies shot, a spay procedure and must have her Microchip inserted. She continues her heartworm treatment plan, and must remain on her HeartGard Preventative monthly.
We are currently accepting applications for her, but completing her Heartworm treatment plan will take several months.
Millie is unlikely to be available for adoption until the end of May or the beginning of June. Please stay tuned as we learn more about this sweet girl. There will be further updates to share.
If you have any questions, you may contact her Foster Mom at Stickhors@gmail.com.
To date we've spent $1138.3 on Millie TX's vet bills, but with your support we've collected $500 in donations.

 Oliver

Oliver
Oliver is a 5-year-old Yorkie boy who weighs 10 pounds. Oliver is being fostered in Zephyr Hills, FL.
THANK YOU TO OLIVER'S RESCUE ANGELS!
Barbara Burgess, Ellen Chokreff, Rayne Debski, Bret Park
Updated Bio 3/29/26.
Hello Every Pawdy! I want to introduce myself to you. My name is Oliver. Ive been in my foster home for a month now, and Ill admit, it was a little iffy at first! I was growling and snapping at my foster mom and her husband, but turns out, I just wasn't feeling very good. I went for a check-up at the Dogtor and found out I had a UTI and an ear infection. Plus, I was a lonely boy who wasnt used to a house with so much going on. OMG, there are cats, other dogs, and even a man here! It was a lot to take in at once, but Ive actually realized I don't mind having other dogs and cats around at all.
Ive been back to the Dogtor since then. Im still fighting that UTI and ear infection, so I'm on more meds, but I am feeling so much better! I am a big “fraidy cat” at the Vet so I wear a muzzle there. My foster mom tells me what a sweet boy I am now. Ive become very cuddly and affectionate, and Ive even decided I like the man after all! I love going for walks and I'm a great passenger in the car.
Im still a little picky about my personal space. When Im in my crate, thats my spot and I like to be left alone. Also, I don't share my meals with humans, so please don't get near my plate while Im enjoying my dinner! Otherwise, I love to sit in your lap or lounge next to you on the couch. When its bedtime, Im a good boy and put myself right to bed in my crate.
Because I'm still learning to be social, my foster mom has me hang out in my crate when people come to visit so I don't get overwhelmed. I still need one more Dogtor check-up to get the all clear, but Im looking for my forever home now. Since I havent been around young kids, I need an adult-only home, preferably a stay-at-home couple to hang out with and will have the patience to let me learn the ropes, in getting used to my new digs and to my new doggie parents but dont worry, when Im ready, Ill come find you for my lap time and all the cuddles I can get. I hope youre that person!
Initial Bio 3/1/26: Oliver comes to us as an owner surrender for personal
health reasons. Meet Oliver, a silver-toned 5 year old male Yorkie with the most adorable face you've ever seen. At 11.7 lbs, he is the perfect size for a lap which happens to be his favorite place to be. Oliver is a true velcro dog who loves to rest his head on his foster moms shoulder and soak up all the snuggles and body rubs he can get. Oliver is currently on a medical timeout while we clear up a UTI and a yeast ear infection. He's taking his meds like a champ and should be good as new in a few weeks. Oliver is basically house trained but because of the UTI, he's had a few accidents, his foster mom will know more once he is healed from it. While he's a total sweetheart at home, Oliver is a sensitive soul who finds the vet a bit scary. He does best with a muzzle during exams to keep everyone safe, but with a patient team and some soft words, he settles right down. He is also a total gentleman on the go, he enjoys his car rides and does well in the car. He is crate and leash trained, loves his crate for a good night's sleep, and naps throughout the day. He walks well on his leash and enjoys going for walks. Oliver is doing great living with both dogs and cats, and he hasn't even let out a single bark yet. When he's feeling playful, his foster mom enjoys watching him play, he's a total riot with his toys, he shakes his head, while growling and tosses his toy up in the air, happily tossing them in the air and also enjoys playing tug of war with her. We are still learning his full personality as he starts feeling better and his appetite returns to normal, so stay tuned for an update in a few weeks once this sweet boy is at 100%!
To date we've spent $838.87 on Oliver's vet bills, but with your support we've collected $230 in donations.

Meet Ollie, a handsome 9-10 pound, 1.5yrs old Morkie (Yorkie/Maltese) boy being fostered in Chico, TX. DUE TO THE NEED FOR SOME ADDITIONAL TRAINING FOR THIS YOUNG PUP, HE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION UNTIL APRIL. Only Texas applicants will be considered.
THANK YOU TO OLLIE' RESCUE ANGELS!
Sandy Pagnotta, Yvette Vangeloff, Wendy Henry, Cheryl Scrupski, David and Diana Lavine, Patricia Elaine Nelson
Update 3/24/26: Look at this precious baby Ollie!! He has come such a long way. Ollie is totally vetted and waiting for you to bring him home!
Ollie was so unsocialized when he came to us, but today, he is a sweet healthy baby that has learned so much. Ollie is such a fun loving baby that most definitely needs a yard to run and play in. He absolutely loves to play chase with his fur sibling friends. We feel he is doing well on his house manners, but with every new baby, they sometimes need your directions as well. He gets along with most dogs but he is not so keen on the larger breed. They are still very intimidating to him. We are not sure if there was one in his past life that made him feel uncomfortable, but we would like for his forever family to know he cowers away and shows fear when they are present.
As you can see, Ollie is just adorable. If you can provide a yard and love, that is all this sweet boy needs! Please send your application to the email below and let's get this baby his furever home!
Update 11/2/25: Ollie is a bundle of energy and love. He is up to date on all vaccines and he also got neutered. His favorite things are going for walks and watching squirrels. He loves his squeaky toys! He gets along with his foster mom's other foster baby. Ollie is ready for his forever loving home!
Initial Bio 10/19/25: Ollie is a Morkie with a BIG heart. He is a shy boy, and may be a little shy when you first meet him. But just give him a little time and patience and he'll be your most loyal cuddle buddy.
Ollie is not fully house trained, but we are working on it. He is about 9-10lbs and will be going to the doggy doctor soon. He will be getting his vaccines, and a neuter. We will keep you updated. Ollie will need a yard with a fully secured fence because he loves to run and is fast. If you feel that Ollie would be a great fit for you and your family, please submit an application using the link below. Or email his foster mom.
To date we've spent $2495.97 on Ollie TX's vet bills, but with your support we've collected $1110 in donations.

Bio Update 3/31/26: Pip Update I am Shirley, the foster mother of Pip. He has been in my care since February 27th.
If you have read his first biography on our website, we are currently working on his diagnosis, as we suspect it may be related to neurology. He received his first set of three puppy shots on Monday, the 23rd of this month. During that appointment, I requested a referral to a neurologist specialist, and we will proceed from there with his treatment. Regrettably, the initial appointment with the specialist is scheduled for the end of April. Our veterinarian has a suspicion that Pip may have cerebella hydroplasia.
Upon his arrival, Pip exhibited significant behavioral issues. He would become agitated when his body failed to respond as expected. He would fall over, attempt to rise, and, unable to do so, would begin biting his right front paw and emitting extremely loud and distressing screams that caused me to believe he was being physically abused. In reality, he was struggling to control his front paw and causing puncture wounds. We initiated antibiotics to prevent further complications or to minimize the risk of his mouth and paw coming into contact. Our veterinarian and I were attempting to devise a solution to prevent Pip from banging himself against the wires of his crate. Ultimately, I discovered that rolling one of my socks up and securing it around his neck provided temporary relief. Pip has made progress in managing his falls and the accompanying pain. Currently, he only cries for a few days at a time.
While he still experiences falls and lacks control over his movements, I have relocated him to a large, soft pen. This allows him to move around uncontrollably without striking the sides of the pen. I assist him with eating by holding his body upright and administering water through a syringe, as he is still learning to drink water from a bowl. Pip is fed every 4 to 6 hours, depending on his wakefulness from naps. We take him outside to the backyard in the grass, where he can expend energy without encountering obstacles.
This adorable puppy possesses captivating eyes that have touched my heart. Despite his condition, he is diligently attempting to engage in typical puppy behaviors. Until we consult with the neurologist, we are currently in a period of observation. At this juncture, he maintains a healthy appetite, exhibits normal bodily functions, and makes a valiant effort to emulate his canine nature. However, it is heartbreaking to witness his confusion reflected in his eyes. We will schedule an appointment with our esteemed veterinarian for his second set of vaccinations before proceeding to the neurologist. We extend our sincere gratitude for your interest in Pip’s well-being and kindly request your prayers. If you are able to contribute financially, Pip has expressed a sincere desire for your support, as it would enable him to attain optimal health and vitality in the future. A donation link is provided below this biography for your convenience. Sincerely, Shirley and Pip
Initial Bio 3/5/26: O my goodness, there is nothing more precious than rescuing a puppy that truly truly needed us! Meet our little, United Yorkie Rescue, 1 lb Pip! Pip came to us as an owner surrender, where the owner was concerned that he was blind. Barely weighing in at 11 ounces, this little baby was honestly knocking on death's door. He could not stand or walk, he was so incredibly hypoglycemic, his little body was just skin and bones with zero muscle mass. After critical care given to this little one, we finally know, our precious baby boy has cerebella hypoplasia. Pip, has been in rescue now since the 9th of February. The most heartbreaking thing his foster has conquered, was protecting him from his falls and devising a safe soft cone that helps this little one with balance. I say heartbreaking, because before the cone, when he would fall over, he would bite his leg to try to get back up while the puppy teeth would puncture the skin on his leg or foot and cause this baby to scream so pitifully and cry and cry. His little leg became infected overnight. Luckily, his amazing vet saw him immediately and care was given! His case is not as severe as many babies can be, for that he is so blessed!!
Pip, needless to say, is so loved. He will be the light of someone's eye when we are through with his vetting and he is ready to be with his Furever family. Be patient as this itty bitty will not be ready until he's reached close to 14 weeks of age. You are welcome to submit an application, but again, please be patient. We would also like to ask those of you who follow our babies, to please consider a donation towards this little one's vetting. He's under weekly care at the moment and of course with xrays, bloodwork, etc etc. Outside of his normal needs, it becomes quite costly. Keep this sweet angel in your prayers and bless you all for loving our babies
To date we've spent $1005.13 on Pip TX's vet bills, but with your support we've collected $800 in donations.

Meet Rocky! Rocky is a 2-year-old Morkie (Yorkie/Maltese mix) weighing in at just 8 pounds of fluffy charm. This handsome little guy has just arrived at his foster home in Roanoke, VA, and were already seeing glimpses of his sweet and loving personality.
Rocky came to rescue as an owner surrender after struggling to live peacefully with a dominant German Shepherd in his previous home. The stress led to some anxiety and marking behaviors, but his former family shared that Rocky truly shines in the right environment. He is great around other small dogs and loves his people. What Rocky really wants is simple: a calm home, lots of affection, and a family who enjoys having a little shadow by their side. At only 8 pounds, hes the perfect size for cuddling, lap sitting, and being your constant companion. Rocky has just landed in foster care. Stay tuned for updates on Rocky and all the adorable things that make him special!
To date we've spent $0 on Rocky's vet bills, but with your support we've collected $425 in donations.

Senior aka Bentley
Meet Senior, aka Bentley, a sweet 16 year old, 13 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in Rockwall, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered.
THANK YOU TO SENIOR'S RESCUE ANGELS!
Tamra Watts, Sandy Pagnotta
Initial Bio 3/26/26: Hi everyone. My name is Bentley. UYR gave me a new name of "Senior." I think that means I'm special or I got a promotion or something. I don't suppose it has anything to do with the fact that I was born in 2009 and I'll be 17 in May???
My foster mom thinks I'm pretty spunky for being a Senior. I weigh 11.8 pounds. I've gone to the vet twice. My vaccines are up to date. I got a microchip. I had my teeth cleaned. I had a bump taken off one of my front paws, which foster mom said was benign. I've been having to wear this blue collar thing because of that bump, but I'm looking forward to taking it off soon.
My favorite activities are eating, sleeping, wandering around in the yard, and going on several short walks every day. My favorite place to sleep is in mom's dirty clothes basket.
Bentley is used to being around young children, as he used to play with his previous owner's grandchildren. He is very friendly with people who come to visit. He has not been around other dogs, and he gets annoyed when we pass another dog on our walks. He is well potty trained. He is a sweet boy who is looking for his furever home.
To date we've spent $2399.5 on Senior aka Bentley's vet bills, but with your support we've collected $175 in donations.

Spanky
Spanky is a 11year old (estimated) Yorkie boy being fostered near Elizabethtown, KY.
THANK YOU TO SPANKY'S RESCUE ANGELS!
Barbara Lalani, Paul and Patty Kirchner
UPDATED BIO
09/08/2025: Spanky is an 11-year-old boy who came to foster parents with severely crusted eyes and skin irritation. Upon a vet visit, it was determined that Spanky suffers from dry eye syndrome. He will be permanently on eye ointment, which he endures like a champ. After a few weeks of antibiotics, he is doing much better. His skin irritation is gone. A spa day with the groomer has this spunky boy struttening his awesomeness.
It is suspected that he suffered neglect in his previous life. He gets along well with other dogs, and he didn't mind his foster parents' grandchildren (ages 3 and 7). However, he is not properly house trained. We are working on that with him.
Spanky is a sweet and affectionate boy, who just wants to be special to someone who will love him. He wants to be your forever lap dog.
Initial Bio 7/9/25: Spanky has just come into Rescue; please stay tuned for more information.
To date we've spent $748.55 on Spanky 's vet bills, but with your support we've collected $546.78 in donations.
