I have a new home. I am such a happy puppy
Dallas Rose

11-16-18 Dallas Rose the puppy got adopted today. Dallas Rose was sadly surrendered by her owner when her former mommy knew that she just couldn't take care of a puppy anymore. After Dallas Rose's daddy passed away her mommy was heartbroken and realized she could not give Dallas Rose the time and care and attention an active puppy required. Today Dallas Rose went to her forever home. She is so happy. She has a fur friend to play friend, a stay at home mommy, and a soon to come high fence for the backyard so a puppy like Dallas Rose can run and play while her new mommy and daddy watches her. Happy forever home to Dallas Rose. What a great life lies ahead for you.

I have a forever home. I am so happy.
Rosa

11-10-18 Rosa was adopted today. Little 10 year old Rosa was picked up from a kill shelter in back in June. She was found wandering the streets and taken in by Animal Control. Rosa was probably on the streets a long while because of the condition she was in when she was picked up. Rosa remained in the shelter waiting for her owners to come find her. That never happened, they never came, in fact no none came for her, and this sweet girl was one day away from being euthanized when United Yorkie Rescue was contacted and asked if we would take her. Of course we would. She needed us and we were there for her. When she met her United Yorkie Rescue angel she was so happy to be away from that noisy shelter and safe in her United Yorkie Rescue's mom's arms. Rosa needed special vetting care, but more than anything she needed love and a safe place in which to get well. After spending 5 months in her foster home finally Rosa's perfect family found her and best of all wanted her to be their sweet pup. Rosa will spend the rest of her days being the only pup in their life. She will be cuddled and loved and taken wonderful care of. More than anything in the world, more than toys, even more than treats, Rosa loves her people, and now she has exactly that. Rosa has a mom and dad to call her own forever and ever.

Hooray! Today I was adopted with my best buddy Nate.
Clyde

11/10/18 Clyde was adopted today with his brother and best friend Nate. Clyde came to us looking for much needed love and attention. He came to United Yorkie Rescue from a pretty neglectful situation. He was full of fleas, his coat was matted, and he had crusty area of dried on fecal matter on sections of his hair. He teeth were so bad they practically were falling out themselves, and his breath was terrible. He felt so much better after his grooming and having all the necessary veterinary work completed. Then Clyde got his forever family. Lucky for Clyde he and his brother Nate went to the same family. Clyde and Nate are so happy they can be together. They have also become great friends with their new fur brothers. We are so happy Clyde has found the perfect forever home along with a comfy spot on the pillow next to his new mommy's head.

I found my forever home. I am so happy
Charlie

11-9-18 Charlie was adopted today. Charlie is a very sweet little boy who loves, more than anything else, being with his person. He is content to sit beside them, lie on their lap, sit on their feet, sleep in their bed - just anything that involves him and his owner makes Charlie a happy boy. His foster parents knew that Charlie's perfect home would have at least one stay-at-home parent or a couple who could give Charlie all the love and attention he so richly deserves. That happened today. Charlie went to his perfect forever home. He has a stay at home mom and dad. There is even a Yorkie grand-pup who will be Charlie's new best friend. His new mom and dad will take Charlie for lots of walks and golf cart rides to the park to play. Charlie will be allowed on all the furniture. He will have his very own doggie bed, but he will also get to sleep on the bed with his new mommy and daddy. What a wonderful life is ahead for adorable Charlie. Happy Tails to him.

Hooray, I finally found my forever home.

I love my new mommy
Molly

11/3/18 Sweet Molly was adopted today. Before Molly was even a year old, and through no fault of her own, this adorable puppy had been in three different homes. Her foster home was her fourth, and her foster parents knew that Molly had to have one last home that truly was her forever and ever home. This adorable puppy who is a little cuddle love muffin found her forever home today. She is a very playful, energetic young dog who needed an active family with a fenced yard and some fur playmates. Molly's new forever home has two stay at home grandparents and two fur siblings. She has a wonderful yard with a fence so Molly can run and run the way a puppy should. This will be Molly's forever home for her whole life. We couldn't be happier for Molly. She really is home at last.

Lola

10/21/18. I'm with my forever family! My new mom is the director of an assisted living home. She works downstairs from where we live, so I get to go to work with her. My dad was super easy to win over, I just give him lots of kisses. They adopted my brother Toby last November 8th from UYR, so he and I also shared a foster mom too. I really enjoy being around older people, they enjoy me as well.

Teddy

8-12-16 When Teddy's former family no longer had the time and means to give him the attention and care he needed they realized it would be the best thing for Teddy to become a United Rescue dog. When he came to his foster home this 3 year old pup was a little underweight and shy. During the time he spent in his foster home he put on a little weight and that beautiful tail of his never stopped wagging. Then today the best thing of all happened, he was adopted into the most wonderful forever home. He has a mommy and daddy who will be home with him most of the day. He also has two older fur brothers who will love to curl up next to Teddy during rest time. Best of all Teddy will get the time and attention and all the love this wonderful, special little guy needs and wants. Teddy is really home!

Hi everyone. I have been adopted
Sophie

10-11-18 Sophie was adopted today. Sophie was one of 25 dogs pulled by a rescue group from a horrendous hoarding/backyard breeding situation. All of these dogs were terribly neglected and medically needy and were all living in an unsafe, unsanitary, and over-crowded home with very little human interaction. Sophie and nine other dogs became United Yorkie Rescue pups. When Sophie was taken, for the first time in her life, to the vet the news was not good. It was discovered that Sophie had heartworms. She also had a urinary tract infection, and her teeth were in terrible condition causing her mouth to hurt her. Finally, with a lot of love and care and after more than 4 long months Sophie was heartworm free, her teeth were taken care of, and her UTI was cleared up. Sophie was ready for her forever home. Today it finally happened. Sophie found her forever home. She has a fur sister and a stay at home mom. She has a lot of doggie beds and doggie toys. From a life with nothing but neglect and emptiness to one filled with love and care, Sophie is home forever.

Peaches found her forever home
Peaches

10-11-18 Peaches is adopted. Pretty Peaches went to her forever home today. This sweet 8-year-old girl wasn't sure she would ever find her forever home. She doesn't see very well, maybe she doesn't really even see at all. She is also hearing impaired with limited hearing. Poor Peaches. She wondered everyday was who would want a blind, almost deaf little doggie to make their own, and to love forever? Well, someone did. A wonderful person who felt that Peaches and dogs like Peaches deserved a forever home. A forever home filled with love and happiness. A home filled with love and care. A home that will be hers forever. Peaches found her forever home and her forever mommy today, She has an older fur brother to hang with and will show her the ropes. Peaches no longer has to worry about who will love her forever. Her new, wonderful mommy will.

Hi Everyone. I found my forever home
Lily

10-6-18 Little Lily was adopted today. Sweet Lily came to into United Yorkie Rescue almost 6 months ago. She was one of the group of breeder dogs taken from a backyard breeder/hoarder home. Lily and three others were found to be heartworm positive. Her road to recovery and being heartworm free took a long time. Along the way she developed a cough most likely due to the heartworms. Her vet treated her aggressively, but still being cautious that the heartworms didn't get into her lungs. No matter what she endured Lily loved going outside, playing, and barking with the other dogs. Although she had to be kept calm during the whole treatment, she learned that people are okay, that she can trust them, and that life is good. Finally Lily was heartworm free and ready to go to her forever home. She went to that wonderful home today. She has a fur sister to play with and follow around. Her new mom and dad will be staying at home with Lily and her sister and if they go out and can take the pups, they sure will. Lily has a nice new backyard with a fence so she can practice running and playing to her heart's content. We are so happy for Lily. Home at last.

Pappito found his forever home
Pappito

10-5-18 Pappito was adopted today. This 7-year-old little guy found his forever home today. He had somehow found himself in the shelter again without a home to call his own. His owner who had him for over 5 years was no longer able to care for him and there was no family member or friend to take him so he was brought over to the Humane Society hoping to get a new family. A few weeks later Peppito was adopted by a very nice lady who had several other dogs including a special needs little pup. Pappito was doing fine in his new home until he and the other pup didn't seem to like each other for some reason. Sadly Pappito's new mom had to return him to the Humane Society where he again waited for someone to come adopt him or rescue him. When no one came for him United Yorkie Rescue got a message that there was a little Yorkie who needed to be rescued. Pappito became a United Rescue boy. Pappito had already lost one eye due to lack of care and neglect, and it looked like his other eye was also at risk. But luck was on Pappito's side. After becoming a United Yorkie Rescue pup and a few appointments with the vet and eye drops, antibiotics, and eye serum Pappito got to keep his one good eye. The same day his foster mom was told he would get to keep his eye he was adopted by his wonderful mommy. Pappito is now an only dog in his mom's life and his mom is the only person in Pappito's life. It will be the two of them forever. Pappito found his forever home and for Pappito the best is yet to be. Happy Tails, little guy.
