5-8-19 Marlee got adopted today! It was a miracle. From one of the worst puppy mills in the United States to a forever home, can anything be better? Marlee was one of the 20 dogs United Yorkie Rescue rescued from that awful, horrible puppy mill in Georgia. She came into her foster home never having known life outside of a dirty wire crate, She didn't know a human touch or the love for and by a human. She had no idea what grass was nor life outside of the warehouse where her crate was stacked one on top of another and another.

Marlee, who we think is a little Yorkie/Poo thrived in her foster home. She learned how to eat and drink from a bowl. She began to allow her Foster Mom to pick her up. And then her tail began to wag and it never stopped, it wagged all the time. Marlee learned about going outside to do her business. She learned that being outside in the yard was a great place to run around and have fun in and just how nice it was to lie on the grass and soak up the sun. Marlee discovered toys and how much fun they are to play with. Mostly Marlee learned that people can be kind and loving and that she can trust them.

Today, at 4 years old, Marlee became somebody's baby for the first time in her life. She has a stay at home mom and dad and and will be the center of their world. Marlee will never be alone again. She even has a fur brother, Webster, who was also adopted from United Yorkie Rescue. They are already playing together. They have a house full of toys and doggie beds. She has a nice yard with a fence, which is perfect for a young pup and her fur brother to run around in and play chase the doggie. She now has a life full of love and happiness. Hooray for Marlee.
