I am adopted with my brother Cookie. I am so happy.

I got adopted with my brother Rambo.
Rambo (and Cookie)

9/14/19 Rambo and his brother Cookie were adopted today. Rambo and Cookie's previous owner passed away suddenly and their family was unable to care for them. The people who took Rambo and Cookie in did not give them the best life. They were being kept outside in a hot metal storage shed. They had no training at all in any doggie manners. That all changed the day they became United Yorkie Rescue dogs. Their foster mom started with house training and leash training and the boys learned quickly. They loved giving kisses and having their bellies rubbed. In no time Rambo and Cookie were ready for their forever home. They now not only have a forever mommy and daddy, but also a new grandmother and human brother and sister. With all that love and attention given to only Rambo and his brother, life is going to be so wonderful for these boys. No shed ever again for them. Only a life of love, care, happiness, and belly rubs for them every day until forever.

Teddy and his forever mommy.
Teddy Bear

9/8/19 Happy Adoption Day to Teddy Bear. This adorable, little, young poodle mix somehow ended up on the streets and was picked up by animal control. He waited in the shelter for someone, anyone, to come save him. The shelter was a very stressful place for him. When they went to vaccinate him he went to bite both the vet and the vet tech. Teddy was so distraught. He was scared, and anxious, and sad. So he sat in the cage for a week, sad, and waiting. Finally his stray hold was up and he was ready for a rescue to come save him and United Yorkie Rescue did that. He may not have been a Yorkie or even a Yorkie Mix be he needed us and we were not going to let him down. In his foster home he was still anxious and agitated. He paced and circled and chattered his teeth. After a few days and some help with some calming meds Teddy began to trust his foster parents and they knew his was ready for his forever home. Teddy has found his perfect home. This fellow who loves attention from his people will now be an only dog in his new mommy's life. He has a beautiful new home with a fenced yard, and a stay at home mom who is ready to give Teddy a life of love and happiness. Teddy's foster mom and dad are so happy for this boy. They know he will have a great life with his forever mom.

Beau found his forever mom and dad.
Beau

9/7/19 Beau is a sweet Yorkie who somehow ended up on the streets. He was found by a wonderful person who rushed him to the vet. His temperature was 107.5 degrees; he was suffering from heat exhaustion and heat stroke. He was close to death. The clinic worked very hard to save him and they did! The wonderful person who found him knew she couldn't keep Beau. The vet clinic suggested that someone was probably looking for this guy and the shelter is the best place to take him. Beau spent 5 days in the shelter on his stray hold waiting for the person who once loved him to come get him. No one came. And then someone did...Of course that someone was the angel from United Yorkie Rescue. Beau's world had been turned upside-down and everything was a bit confusing to him, but having some stability in his life and a forever loving home was the answer! And hooray for today, because it happened. Beau was adopted by a wonderful mom and dad. He will be their only pup and that is how he likes it. He loves to be the center of his people's life and the one who gets all the attention and all the love. Beautiful Beau will never find himself alone on the streets or in a shelter ever again. He found his forever home and it is for ever.

Ricky

Ricky's daddy did not have enough time to devote to Ricky so he made the very difficult decision to surrender Ricky to United Yorkie Rescue. Ricky quickly found his perfect furever home. He has a new mommy that will take him everywhere she goes, including work. Ricky's new mommy told me that she already adores Ricky and he has settled in nicely. Ricky has already smothered his new mommy with kisses, which she loves. His new mommy says that Ricky is the smartest puppy she has ever seen and loves him to the moon and back.

Radar and his new mom. It is love for sure
Radar

9/4/19 Radar was adopted today. It finally happened. Radar found his very special forever home. He has a home where he will be the only pup in the house. He will get all the attention and his love he wants. Radar was on the streets for a while. No one came to claim this sweet boy after he spent a few days in the shelter waiting for someone to come get him. His Foster Mom said that he is a shy easy-going fella who is playful and loving. He loves his treats and toys and his favorite thing to do is to go on walks. Now all that will be his for the rest of his days. Hooray for Radar. Happy days only ahead for you.

Callie is sure loved by her forever mom.
Callie

8-23-19 Callie is adopted. Hooray for Callie. Callie came into United Yorkie Rescue somewhat fearful of men and preferring to be with mostly with women. She was never house trained, and she was badly in need of a dental and a grooming. Callie's foster mom and dad worked hard to get her to like men and to do most of her business outside. She did learn to love her foster dad, and although she still has a few accidents in the house she is learning. After she had her dental, spay, and her much needed grooming Callie was ready for her forever home. Now she has the perfect mom who will be home with her all the time. It will be just Callie, her mom, and the pet bird. Callie's forever home has everything she could ever want including a nice fenced yard. Callie will have the best life ever and it started today.

Rocco loves his forever mommy.
Rocco

8/21/19 Rocco was adopted today. Rocco has had a rocky road from his very early days until he became a United Yorkie Rescue dog. He was bought from a breeder as a puppy. He lived with his first family for four and a half years. This family decided they no longer wanted Rocco because he was a bother. They were ready to turn him into the SPCA. As luck would have it that very same day a couple came into the SPCA looking for a little dog. They saw this man holding this little matted, dirty. This nice couple took this little dog home with them. Rocco was a scared and angry little guy for quite a while. His new mom and dad worked with him, but soon discovered he was not fond of men very much and really only liked women. This was most likely due to being abused by the man in his first family. These nice people worked hard with Rocco and he made great progress. They had Rocco for 3 years and during those years they had two children, they both worked, and their once quiet home became noisy and loud and full of activity. Rocco's family decided Rocco needed a much quieter, more sedate home life. And so Rocco became a United Yorkie Rescue dog. Rocco did great in his foster home. He learned that not all men are bad and some can even be trusted. It took a while, but finally Rocco found the most perfect forever home. Rocco loved his new mommy before he even became her forever pup. She puppy sat for Rocco while his foster mom went away for a little while. When Rocco went back to his foster home his puppy sitter just missed him so much she decided he had to be her forever boy. And today that happened. Rocco became her forever pup and she became Rocco's forever and ever mommy. Rocco's forever mom is a stay at home mommy and she is ready to give Rocco all the love, attention, and care a dog could ever hope to have. Happy Tails, Rocco. Home at last!

I found my forever home. I am so happy.

Harmony (now called Laci) with her forever mom
Harmony

8/20.19 Harmony was adopted today. Little Harmony was found on the streets in horrible condition. She had severe hair loss on her back and sides. She had a very bad bacterial and yeast infection on her skin and in her ears. She smelled awful. The shelter worked very hard to get her to a foster home as soon as possible. Of course that foster home was a United Yorkie Rescue foster home. When she arrived at her foster home her foster mom gave her a nice warm medicated shampoo bath. After her bath she smelled better, but her skin is still itchy. Harmony was taken to the vet right away and treatment began for clearing up her skin condition. Within a few weeks her skin was almost healed, her hair was growing back in, and her teeth were all shiny and clean. All that was missing was a forever home. Today Harmony got that forever home. She has a wonderful stay at home mommy and a kitty cat friend who she even likes and likes Harmony. Harmony's mom is so crazy about Harmony and Harmony already loves her forever mommy. Harmony knows she will be loved and cared for the rest of her life. She will never ever find herself alone and sick in a shelter again. We are all so happy for Harmony. Life couldn't be better for this sweet little girl. Happy days only for Harmony from now on until forever.

I love my new mom and dad
Apollo

8/3/19 Apollo was adopted today. Apollo was having some trouble in his former home. He liked to bark and howl at noises he didn't recognize. He was disturbing the new baby in the house. The new baby was also making Apollo upset and he was forgetting a lot of his house training manners. After the new baby's arrival Apollo was regressing in his behavior. He seemed to be on guard all the time. His owners sadly decided that for Apollo's sake and for his well being, he needed a calm, quiet, adult only home. And today that is exactly the kind of home his foster mom found for him. Apollo has a wonderful mom and dad who will be home with him all the time. He has a nice fur sister to play with and a beautiful yard to play in. There won't be neighbors close by so that if Apollo has to bark a little it won't bother anyone. His new mom and dad are so excited to be Apollo's forever mom and dad. There are only happy days ahead for Apollo from now on until forever.

Bella Mia and Cooper were adopted together today. They are so happy
Bella Mia (and Cooper)

7/28/19 Bella Mia and Cooper were adopted together today. Little Bella Mia and her brother Cooper were sadly surrendered to United Yorkie Rescue when circumstances in the life of their former family changed. They knew Bella Mia and Cooper needed United Yorkie Rescue to find them a family who could and would be better able to care for them. Bella and Cooper did fine in their foster home, but their foster mom and dad knew they needed a home for just the two of them without any other dogs. Today that happened, and it was the best thing ever. Now it is just Bella, Cooper, and their forever mom. When they got to their new home they saw the pile of toys just waiting for them. Bella started playing with them right away and Cooper joined right in. They even played with each other and ran around and around in their new home. We could tell this was the right place for them and they were home for good. Bella and Cooper's foster mom already loves them to the moon and back. We are so happy for these pups and know that together they truly have found their happily ever after
