Rosie

12-29-19 Rosie was adopted today and is a very lucky girlie. Rosie came to United Yorkie Rescue because her previous owner could no longer give her the attention and care she needed due to her own medical issues. Rosie was with her foster Mom and Dad along with 4 resident Yorkies and 2 cats for 5 months. While in her foster home Rosie received all of the care, love and medical attention that she needed. She has come such a long way from the timid little girl whose life was turned upside down in an instant, to a happy well adjusted little girlie, all thanks to the hard work of her foster parents and 4 legged foster friends. Rosie has cataracts and through labs and testing we found that Rosie also has kidney disease. Thankfully these special needs never got in the way of Rosie doing what she loves best. Rosie just loves being outside where she can explore, sniff, investigate and just take in the outdoors. It took a while to find the perfect forever home for Rosie but then, hooray, it finally happened. Rosie is now in her forever home with her forever Mommy. Her forever Mommy is a stay at home doggy Mom who will give Rosie all of the love, care and attention that she deserves even with some special needs. Rosies new Mommy has adopted 8 rescue Yorkies over the years which is great news for Rosie, this Mom really knows her Yorkies. Rosie now has her very own fenced yard, so just like at her foster home, she has the freedom to roam, sniff, explore and enjoy the great outdoors. Then when she comes in after all of that fresh air and adventure she has her new Mommy all to herself to love on her. Ah, what a life. We are all so happy for Rosie and for her new forever Mommy.

I love my new mommy
Lexie

12-27-19 Lexie was adopted today. Lexie's former owners sadly surrendered Lexie because they felt their home was too active for her. They felt sure Lexie would be happier in a calmer, quieter, home where she would be the center of attention. Lexie is super sensitive to sounds and barks at unexpected/unknown noises. Her foster parents knew Lexie would not do well in an apartment or condo. She had to have an adult only home, but not where the neighbors were too close so that if Lexie barked they would not be bothered. Lexie found her perfect home today. A home with a mommy and daddy who would be home with her all the day. Lexie is the only pup in their life, and the attention she loved to have would now be all hers. It was everything Lexie wanted, needed, and dreamed of having. Lexie now gets to live her best life forever. Lucky Lexie got her happily ever after.

Mishu

12-27-19 Mishu was adopted today. Mishu was having some trouble in his first home learning his doggie manners. In his quiet foster home he learned how to be a well-behaved fellow. Mishu is a high energy, active, 2 year old little guy and his foster parents knew he needed a young, active family with a fenced yard for Mishu to be happy in his forever life. Today he found that. What a family he now has. Kids to play with and a wonderful fenced yard. Everything a young, active dog needs in his forever home and for his best life ever. Love, fun, and games, forever. Happy Tails to you, Mishu.

Bandit

12-23-19 Bandit was adopted today. This little 4-pound little fellow was sadly surrendered because he needed some major vetting that his former owner couldn't afford to give him. When Bandit arrived at his foster home his foster mom made sure he received the vet care he needed. Bandit was happy in his foster home. He enjoyed his time there while his mouth healed. When he was all healed, and it took a little while, Bandit could play with his toys without pain. and he especially loved the squeakily ones. Finally, Bandit and his foster knew was ready for his forever home. His foster mom knew he needed a stay at home mom or dad, since he loves his people so much. Bandit loves to have all the attention for himself, and lucky for him he now has that. As soon as Bandit met his forever home he knew she was going to give him the forever home he wanted. He will be the only dog in his new mom's life. Bandit will have so much love and attention. He will get to go everywhere with his forever mom and won't be alone hardly ever at all. Bandit found the perfect forever home with the perfect forever mom.

From Bandit, "Have a happy holiday everyone. I know I will. Woof, woof."

I have a great new mom and dad

What a lucky pup I am. This is my new wonderful family
Bruno

12-21-19 Bruno was adopted today. This puppy found the best home any pup could ever dream of having. Before becoming a United Yorkie Rescue Dog poor Bruno had been crated so much in his young life. When he finally did have the has freedom to roam, he would get so excited he would end up right back in the crate. It was not the life for any dog, especially one as young as Bruno. Because he hadn't had enough exercise and activity for such a young dog, Bruno needed to lose at least 2-4 pounds to be at healthier weight. When Bruno got to his foster home and had this freedom he acted just like a puppy. He is high energy and he loves to play, and he started to lose some of the weight he needed to. It didn't take long for his foster parents to know this young boy needed an active family with older children who could provide him with an active life. Today Bruno found that perfect family. There is a stay at home mom and dad and even some older kids to play with. Bruno got luckier than he ever thought he would when he saw the wonderful fenced yard he now had to run around in. He will never spend hours and hours in a crate again. Bruno's tail has not stopped wagging since he became his new family's forever puppy. Happy Tails, Bruno. Keep wagging on!

I have such a wonderful new family
Delilah

12-14-19 Darling Delilah got adopted today. Delilah she was picked up on the streets and brought to animal control. We didn't have any history on Delilah but this sweet girl was in serious need of medical intervention. She has two huge mammary masses, dry flaky skin, and skin issues. Poor Delilah was so matted and unkempt it was obvious she had been neglected for a while. When Delilah was rescued by United Yorkie Rescue, she got the care and love she so desperately needed in her foster home. After she received the medical care and surgery she needed she was finally ready for her forever home. This adorable little girl knew the right family was out there for her just wanting and waiting to make Delilah their forever girl. Today Delilah found herself in the arms of her forever mom and dad. She has a fur brother for a friend and a nice fenced yard to hang out in. Delilah's new mom and dad are stay at home doggie parents. Delilah is so happy. Life is so great. Happy Tails Delilah, the best is yet to come.

Hi everyone. I found my forever family
Boba Lou

12/11/19 Boba Lou the puppy was adopted today. This little 11-month-old Yorkie mix boy is so full of life and love that he was having trouble learning some of his doggie manners. His former home was full of kids and activity and there was Boba Lou right in the middle of it. They knew he needed a home with someone home to help him with all his doggie manners and training. He needed a playmate and a fenced yard so he could run off his energy. Today Boba Lou got exactly what he needed. He has a new forever home with a mom and dad who will be home a lot and best of all he now has a fur sister who is about his age. The minute they met they started to play and had so much fun in the fenced backyard that everyone knew Boba Lou had to be a part of their family. Hooray I was adopted today.
Banjo

12/3/19 Banjo was adopted today. Banjo found a wonderful forever home. Banjo is an adorable and sweet senior fellow who found himself homeless and at an area animal shelter. The staff at the shelter recognized that he really needed to be out of the shelter, and reached out to UYR to see if we could pull him. Of course, we said YES! His foster mom immediately went to the shelter to scoop him up into her arms and bring him to his new foster home. Banjo was so happy in his foster home. He had a doggie bed, and toys, and lots of love and care. All that was missing was his forever home and that happened today. He has a kitty sister and a stay at home mom. He even has a wonderful fenced backyard for running and sunny. Happy Tails little Banjo. Hooray for you.

Harley and Scooby Doo and their new mom together forever
Scooby Doo (and Harley)

12/2/19 Hooray! Today was the day that Scooby Doo and his brother Harley were adopted together and will now be together forever. They spent their whole life with their first owner. But when her life changed and she could no longer keep the boys and knowing they loved each other and had to stay together they became United Yorkie Rescue dogs. Their foster mom never saw two pups who loved each other so much. They sleep together and kiss each other, and if one is around the other is not far away. They even played ball together. There was no way they could ever be apart. Their new mommy knew that and adopted both boys to be her babies forever. They have a fenced yard they can run around and play ball together. They will get to go on car rides, be taken to the beach, and just have the best life ever. And best of all, their forever mom and dad are stay at home parents who will be with them all the time. These sweet 10-year-old seniors are starting their new life today. Happy Tails Scooby Doo and Harley too.
